About Garut

Garut is a regency (kabupaten) in the West Java Province of Indonesia. This natural and beautiful of a destination is replete with volcanoes, pine forests and lush countryside. More recently, Garut is a centre of tourism in the region south of Bandung for mount hiking, enjoying spa, beautiful lakes and quite villages. 

Getting Around

Garut relatively easy to reach. Use private car, Garut can be reached from Jakarta via Cipularang Toll road. By public bus, Garut is also can be reach from several cities. Garut is on Garut-Tasikmalaya-Jakarta track. Usually, bus passengers who want to go to Tasikmalaya can transit at Guntur Terminal in Garut. Some intercity bus routes are available such as Garut-Jakarta, Garut-Bekasi, Garut-Bandung and Garut-Depok. You can also visit to Garut by train from some cities, for example Jakarta and Bandung.
