About Pangandaran

Pangandaran is a regency within the Province of West Java. It is a popular tourist destination that is famous for the beautiful beaches. From swimming, snorkeling, jet ski, fishing to hiking.

Getting Around

There are flights from the Jakarta Halim Perdanakusuma Airport and Bandung Husein Sastranegara Airport to the Nusawiru Airport in Pangandaran. It’s the fastest and most comfortable way to reach Pangandaran.
The most popular way to reach Pangandaran is by bus, usually from Jakarta, Bandung and Yogyakarta. Please note that not all buses have direct route to Pangandaran. Some require you to change in Ciamis, Tasikmalaya or Banjar. Direct bus from Jakarta will take around 7 hours.
If you drive your own car, you can visit to Pangandaran via Jakarta-Cikampek toll road, Purbaleunyi toll road, Nagreg, Malangbong, Ciawi, Tasik, Ciamis and Banjar. From Yogyakarta, the route is pass through Cilacap and Kalipucang.
There is no train to Pangandaran. You can take train to Banjar then continue the journey to Pangandaran by bus.
