Cunca Wulang Waterfall
Located around 300 m to the east of Labuan Bajo, there are 3 waterfalls in Cunca Wulang. You need to walk for 30 mins to reach the waterfall. See the great cliffs similar to Green Canyon and clear blue water river.
Kanawa island has a fascinating natural and underwater marine beauty. In the afternoon, the sea water will slowly recede so that we can easily spot many starfish and small crabs on the beach.
Soekarno’s Exile House
This is where the first President Soekarno was serving a sentence of exile as a political prisoner in Ende, Flores (1934-1938). This simple house is not numbered and located between other local houses.
Cancar Village is about 15 KM from Ruteng, a cool little town on the mountain. Come and see the unique paddy field formations like a spider web (the locals call it lingko) that usually featured in travel magazines.
Liang Bua Cave
Liang Bua Cave is a large limestone cave located in west central Flores. Liang Bua is home for short people (Homo floresiensis) like hobbit in Lord of the Rings, that once inhabited the area.
Batu Cermin Cave (Mirror Stone Cave)
Located about 4 km from Labuan Bajo, this cave has magnificent stalactites and stalagmites. Some spots on the wall show the texture of sea animals. When exposed to sunlight, the rocks in this cave will look radiant.
